Our Backpack Buddies ministry bridges the gap between Friday afternoon and Monday morning for children facing food insecurity. By partnering with local schools, volunteers discreetly place backpacks filled with nutritious, easy-to-prepare weekend meals to students in need. This community-driven initiative ensures that vulnerable children return to the classroom on Monday well-fed, focused, and ready to learn.
We serve Battleground Elementary.
