an enthusiastic, Christ-centered leader to serve as our Part-Time Youth & Children's Director.
Position Summary
The Youth & Children Director will provide leadership for our ministries with children
(birth–5th grade) and youth (6th–12th grade). This individual will build relationships with
children, students, parents, and volunteers while creating engaging opportunities for discipleship,
fellowship, worship, and outreach.
Responsibilities Include:
Lead and coordinate Children's Church on Sunday mornings.
Plan and lead a weekly youth gathering.
Recruit, train, and encourage ministry volunteers.
Plan family events, Vacation Bible School, mission opportunities, and special activities.
Communicate regularly with parents and families.
Help welcome and connect new children and youth to the church.
Work closely with the Pastor and church leadership to grow a vibrant ministry.
Qualifications
A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a growing Christian faith.
A heart for children, youth, and families.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Previous experience in children's or youth ministry is preferred but not required.
Must successfully complete a background check and comply with the churches Safe
Sanctuary policies.
Position Details
Part-Time: 12–15 hours per week
Compensation: Salary is based on experience and qualifications
